Bill of lading restrictions
- As a part of US Customs 24 Hour Rule regulations, 'To the order of' bills of lading are not accepted for shipments destined for the US or routed via US ports.
- US Customs also does not accept the commodity descriptions 'freight all kinds' and 'General Merchandise' nor the package type 'pallets'
- ISF requirements for USA customs, needed 48hr prior too vessel departure. If not customer will be fined up to the sum of $5000.00.
