Import Demurrage and Detention Combined
This fee is applicable when the customer holds carrier equipment in the terminal for longer than the agreed amount of free time.
Demurrage and Detention is applicable when the customer holds carrier equipment in the terminal (Demurrage) and outside of the port, terminal, or depot (Detention) beyond the free time that is allotted. Calculations are based on calendar days, and the amount is per day, per container from the date of discharge till empty return at the prescribed depot. Storage is billed and payable directly to the port operator (Except in South Africa where this is billed by the line o behalf of the Terminal as a back to back charge)

Non-operating reefers (NORs) are charged as DRY Non-IMO containers.
Shipper’s Own Containers (SOC) are not subject to Demurrage and Detention.
Disclaimer: Dry cargo can legally be auctioned by customs authority if not claimed in within 25 days.
Please note that above tariff is for standard booking and don’t refer to SPOT booking. Please refer to agreed DEMURRAGE &
DETENTION FEES at the moment of booking placement for SPOT (available also on the booking confirmation).
CONTRA MARCA
Please note for all Cargo which overstays in port 25 days (re activation of the Contra Marca) is fined by customs in Mozambique. The rate is 5% of the CIF value. Loading containers under Carrier Haulage after expiry of Contra Marca takes 14 business days.

Delivery Order will be emailed to you within 2 hours.
