How do US regulations impact Maersk Spot for US Trades?
Maersk needs evidence that the Price Owner has authorized an agent to act on its behalf. This is why we ask for a Letter Of Authority (LOA) to be signed by the Price Owner if the booking is made by an Agent. This only needs to be done the first time the Agent is booking on behalf of the Price Owner. The LOA needs to be refiled with Maersk once a year. The LOA template can be found here.
