Coppell, TX — Maersk Ground Freight is proud to announce the opening of a new, state-of-the-art facility in Coppell, Texas, just five miles from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. This combined station and linehaul hub marks a major milestone in Maersk’s commitment to delivering streamlined, high-performance logistics solutions across North America.
Spanning over 100,000 square feet, the new terminal is designed to process thousands of shipments weekly, serving both the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and Maersk’s broader national network. The facility is already active and will be fully operational in time for the peak holiday shipping season, ensuring customers benefit from enhanced speed, reliability, and coverage when it matters most.
This facility is a true force multiplier for our capacity and capabilities. It allows us to consolidate operations while gaining efficiencies, serve our customers better, and provide our Dallas team with a modern, well-equipped workspace. It strengthens our integrated logistics network across North America, enabling daily freight movement across the U.S. and Canada.
The Coppell site integrates both a pickup and delivery station and a linehaul hub, replacing the existing Irving station and expanding Maersk’s footprint in Texas. With seven stations and multiple hubs across the state—including Austin, Houston, El Paso, Laredo, and McAllen—Maersk Ground Freight is positioned to support growing demand and cross-border logistics with unmatched agility.
This expansion comes as Maersk prepares for the holiday season’s business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) deliveries. Maersk’s enhanced ground freight capabilities—including specialized and standard less-than-truckload (LTL), full truckload, store delivery, and white glove services—ensure customers receive time-definite, high-touch service nationwide.
With over 65 facilities across North America, Maersk Ground Freight continues to set the standard for integrated logistics, offering end-to-end solutions that combine technology, asset deployment, and customer-centric service.
