The future of logistics must be shaped today. This is why Maersk has set its sights on achieving net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2040 by adapting new and innovative technologies and fuels.
To assist you in your decarbonisation efforts, we’ve developed a product that enables the use of lower GHG emissions fuels* in our direct network when adding Maersk ECO Delivery to your booking.
By choosing Maersk ECO Delivery, you help reduce GHG emissions compared to using fossil fuel – and you can receive a certificate documenting these emissions savings attributed to your booking.
*Lower GHG emissions fuels have at least a 65% reductions in GHG emissions on a lifecycle basis compared to a reference fossil fuel of 94 g CO2e/MJ, calculated using the REDII methodology

Get a Maersk ECO Delivery CO2e emissions savings certificate
When you choose Maersk ECO Delivery, you can receive a certificate stating the total tonnes of CO2e emissions you reduced over the year after adding any of our ECO Delivery products to your booking.
The certificate includes relevant information, such as the amount of lower GHG emissions fuel used, FFEs or air cargo transported, and CO2e emissions saved (measured both well-to-wake and tank-to-wake).
