Following our previous advisories, it is good news that restrictions on freight trains in Germany in connection to Decin – Bad Schandau were lifted.
As of 22.8. operations are back to normal, effected by second strike of the Union of German Train Drivers, Where no trains operated by DB were running for 4 days. Fortunatelly we received information this strike has ended this morning and trains started running in both export and import directions.
For actual information on your import containers, please follow information in www.emaersk.eu with expected arrivals to our inland depots. In case of any doubts, please contact our customer service colleagues.
We are happy to share that with immediate effect we are lifting export booking stop. In case you wish to book we will be happy to accept based on our truck/equipment availability.
Import shipment stop from German ports remains still valid until further notice, unless you wish to pay premium for ordering direct truck.
In case you have booked your import containers up to Bremerhaven/Hamburg, CY, please request release of these containers in e-Maersk. There is still possibility to book in case you wish to deliver containers from port by direct truck. For price offer and availability please contact our customer service.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
