Right of container assignment

A partir del 01 de Marzo 2022, Maersk se reserva el Derecho de Cesión de todos los contenedores de importación en el puerto de Valencia.

Starting March 1st 2022, Maersk is keeping the right of assignment of all import containers discharged in the port of Valencia.

A partir del 15 de Enero de 2021, Maersk se reserva el Derecho de Cesión de todos los contenedores de importación en los puertos de Barcelona y Algeciras.

Starting January 15th 2021, Maersk is keeping the right of assignment of all import containers discharged in the ports of Barcelona and Algeciras.

Cargoes using the railramp Abroñigal, when requested by the customer, are subject to an extra charge of 130€.

Inland Tariffs Validity:

All inland transports in your web search are applicable only if it directly connects to the booked load/discharge port. Any additional trips and/or stops will incur additional charges.

Additional charges include but are not limited to:

Picking up/Delivering the empty containers from a different load/discharge port than that of the booking.
Any other requirement that consists of performing extra kms and/or services apart from the direct connection between the inland point and load/discharge port.

Inland Cancellation Fee:

Unit has not been picked up
- Cancellation the day before loading after 1 PM or Cancellation within same day of loading date = 130 EUR
- Cancellation the day before the loading date, before 1 PM = No fee
Unit has been picked up:
- Truck has not started the trip. 300€ ( truck + Handling costs ).
- Truck has started the trip, has not reached more than mid-way. Half of inland price + 90€ fee (with a minimum of 300€ as point a).
- Started trip and more than half-way. Full trip selling price + 90€ fee(with a minimum of 300€ as point a).
- Unit has reached the destination already but cannot be loaded/discharged due to customers´ accountability. Full trip selling price+ 90€ fee (with a minimum of 300€ as point a)
INLAND RAIL CANCELLATION FEE - IMPORT
In case of any requested and confirmed unit(s) for a rail transport order, If not loaded on the scheduled trains due to missing custom clearance (not executed by maersk custom services), the following Cancellation Fee will be applied

Inland Amendment Fee*:

Scenario where SD service is booked, but we haven´t receive the transport request. The transport is finally cancelled, and the customer asks for the release of the container: we will invoice MH fee + 100€ for handling and amendment fee.

*Not applicable for SPOT booking

All reefer inlands must be added a cool service generator
EHE and EHI surcharge of 55 EUR/CNTR for cntrs which are not going to do inland with us, only at port where MAERSK is not having following:

Carrier haulage (Maersk) by truck is mandatory for all chilled cargo, both import and export. Merchant haulage requests are not accepted
Please note special equipment and reefer are not allowed by Rail Ramp or Rail Combined modes.
OOG quotations are mandatory to be requested as all of our inland rates are based on standard service with no VAS included

Remarks:

Any Container moved by Maersk and weighing more than the limit will have the overweight surcharge invoiced.
Overweight containers can be delivered using a light chassis or a tri-axle truck.
