Country DnD set-up: Split: DnD setup in Spain consists of two elements: Detention and Demurrage. Demurrage include terminal Storage cost.
Freetime: “Free Time” is the period agreed between the Carrier and the Merchant for which Demurrage and Detention shall not be paid by the Merchant.
Detention: Compensation payable when the Merchant holds Carrier's Container outside the port, terminal or depot beyond the agreed amount of Free Time.
Demurrage: Compensation payable when the Merchant holds Carrier’s Container inside the terminal, port or depot beyond the agreed amount of Free Time (the compensation includes terminal storage costs).

- Ocean ports: Demurrage starts from gate-in day (included) on the terminal, ends with loading day (included) to vessel.
- Rail ramps: Demurrage start event is second Gate in Full (at Water Terminal).
- Remember that spot conditions could be different to these ones, and you can check it at the booking stage
- Imo rates are applicable for all container types
- Cancelled/frustrated exports will incur demurrage & detention charges with no free time

- Reefer storage includes plug-in/electricity charges

- Charges per container per calendar day (i.e. including week-ends and holidays)
- Detention starts from the empty pick up day (included), ends with gate-in day (included) in terminal. For rail ramp cargo the end event is first Gate in Full at the rail ramp terminal
- For NOR equipment we will apply the same rates than for Dry equipment
- Shipper´s Own Containers (SOC) will not be charged with DET rates
