At Maersk, we greatly appreciate your continued trust and partnership.
We would like to keep you informed about a recent development impacting transportation costs across the industry.
Due to the ongoing geopolitical situation in West Asia, there has been a significant increase in global fuel prices, leading to higher operating costs across our logistics network. Given that fuel constitutes a major portion of line-haul expenses, this upward trend is directly impacting service delivery costs.
In light of above significant increases, we are going ahead and implementing Export Fuel Surcharge (EFS) and Import Fuel Surcharge (IFS) of 5% on base price to meet increased operational cost on all inland routes effective 27/05/2026
This surcharge is being introduced to partially offset the rising operating costs associated with inland haulage and ensure continuity and reliability of service across our network.
We remain committed to providing reliable and efficient service support and appreciate your understanding and continued partnership.
