The Maersk Chennai 508E has encountered delays in West Africa, and Cape Town is currently facing a high waiting time of nine days. To mitigate further schedule disruptions, a decision has been made to omit Coega, allowing the vessel to recover its schedule. The Maersk Chennai 508E will proceed directly to Jebel Ali after completing its Cape Town call.

To accommodate this adjustment:

  • All export bookings will be transferred to the next MW1 vessel, Maersk Iyo 509E.
  • All import containers scheduled for discharge in Cape Town will be rerouted accordingly for onward transport to their respective destinations.
