As part of APMM’s goal to streamline and optimise our global logistical network, the service calling the port of Azov, Russia will no longer be operational as of 31st March 2022.
Your partnership remains of the utmost importance to us, and as your integrated logistics partner, our aim is to assist you in building a more efficient supply chain. Our belief is that by aligning specific services to dedicated ports, we can improve our overall customer offering, all whilst reducing our carbon footprint.
Please be assured that should you have cargo at sea or in port readying for transhipment, we have made sure that all containers currently being shipped to or from Azov, will be unloaded or shipped to destination in the timeframe. Should any change arise pertaining to date or overall situation, we will make sure to inform you immediately.
Whilst the port of Azov will no longer be part of the Maersk ocean products offered through APMM, we will continue to support and strengthen your logistical needs through the nearby port of Novorossiysk, as well as through our other inland offerings, including trucking and rail.
We thank you for your trust and loyalty and look forward to continuing to assist and work with you on all matters pertaining to your logistical needs.
Should you have any further questions, please contact your local Maersk professional. Our customer service and commercial teams are always available to support should you need assistance.
