Hutchison London Thamesport has introduced an Emergency Fuel Surcharge effective 1st of June 2026 at GBP 5.25, per import laden container. The charge is levied to the customs declarant.

The charge reflects the increase diesel costs and will be reviewed monthly.

For July, the charge remained the same.

For August, the charge has been revised downwards to GBP 4.74 per import laden container.

The Port will continue to monitor fuel costs closely and will undertake a further review on or around the 15th of August 2026.
