Implementation of Cancellation & Amendment Fee for Special Cargo in IBS Area

Maersk Line is committed to providing you with the best-in-class services at all times, which is why our endeavour is to always keep you updated on any change that occurs with respect to our services.

This advisory is to keep you apprised that, Maersk is implementing a Cancellation and Amendment Fee for Special Cargo (OPEN TOP and FLAT RACK containers) in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal areas effective 1st August 2026.

The details of the implementation are as below:

This fee applies to any cancellation requested within 7 calendar days prior vessel ETD, regardless of the container status.

This is also applicable on below requests:

  • No show
  • Cancellation
  • Container Reduction
