With the objective of improving and simplifying your supply chain, Maersk will be responsible for carrying out the removal of Flexitanks installed in import containers at the ports of Valencia, Barcelona, and Algeciras, ensuring that this operation is performed in full compliance with the required technical and safety standards for proper destruction and recycling. This will be applicable with the following charge: 695 eur/cont, as follows:
Effective date for Non-regulated Countries: 18th Feb 2026.
Effective date for Vietnam: 05th March 2026.
Effective date for Regulated Countries: 21st Mar 2026.
This modification will allow us to enhance the management of Flexitank removals and ensure more agile and efficient execution. Furthermore, we expect this change to help reduce equipment waiting times and optimize transport flows, thereby lowering the carbon footprint associated with these operations.
Our aim is to provide you with a fully integrated import product, for which your only task will be to indicate the delivery point and provide the details of your delivery order. We will take care of the rest.
