In order to proactively address the severity of the winter weather across the North Atlantic which historically has led to the deterioration in reliability, Maersk plans to operate through a planned winter blanking programme on TA1 service.

There will be a sliding of the service every 7th week after the period from Christmas/New Year until end of April, starting with voyage 607W in Antwerp:
