At Maersk, I am given the opportunity to spearhead an End-to-End system enhancement project, which not only strengthens the day-to-day logistics operations but also showcases my ability to seamlessly integrate diverse facets of the business with the management's full support.
Having navigated and been immersed in the intricate web of supply chain and logistics, their pursuit for continuous improvement has been very evident. My experience of becoming part of this pursuit, has been very thrilling and fulfilling.
What I enjoy most about my job is its dynamic nature. I’m not a fan of routine work and I always prefer to do or learn something new every day. It’s fulfilling in a sense that I get to express my thoughts, use my expertise and be given opportunities to showcase my skills and strengths.
The 18-month trainee programme provided opportunities to learn the business from the ground up. As part of the programme, we were assigned specific improvement projects, which we worked on with ground staff and were guided by the senior leaders. We were also given priority to sign up for, and attend, technical and soft skills trainings & informal workshops.
